Stomp is a music group which originated from street performances. Stomp was founded in 1991 in Brighton, United Kingdom by Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas, as Luke and Steve had known  each other since 1981 when they were members of the street performance group called Pookiesnackenburger street performances. They had become known worldwide just a few years after it was created and won several prizes. Around 4 years ago in August 2012 Stomp contributed to the musical segment of the 2012 Summer Olympics closing ceremony in London which was a great honour for Steve and Luke. They got to be part of very important events such as he closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympics, the Lincoln memorial celebration and at way more exciting events.
